"Now God has us where he wants us,
with all the time in this world
and the next
to shower grace and kindness upon us
in Christ Jesus"
Ephesians 2:10 Message
Life has been throwing curveballs lately
I keep choosing to focus on Him
"I AM"
not all the stuff.
Is amazing what a change in perspective will do for ya
I have been so so blessed following the Compassion Bloggers
Seeing those beautiful little ones in Ecuador
appreciating all that God did to bring lil G into our family
all the things I learned to appreciate
this spoiled American needed to learn a thing or two.
Then a family adopting from Ecuador posted this beautiful video
He knows my heart
He continues to bless me
Being able to hold my dear sweet daughter last night as she sobbed
what a blessing to have your 23 yo in your bed
instead of shedding tears alone
to know that she is home
that God has allowed us to be in a place financially
so that even during the gut wrenching losses
she is fed and has her needs met
praying that His words
that we continue to speak over her
that we are living
Will fix the brokenhearted
even though she has put her running shoes on
He understands.
I know this.
Its all grace.......

I'm glad your girl is home!! Beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteLove the verse you begin with, and the rendering from the message is so good, too. Seems like "all are safely gathered in" to your warm nest this holiday season...
ReplyDeleteAre to curve balls coming all the way from you, straight to me??
ReplyDeleteI will try and take your lead and do the same.
I agree with Becca. Beautiful post, my beautiful friend.
Kindness and grace raining down. What a beautiful thought. Sorry to hear about those curve balls. But what strength you have found to focus on Him and not the stuff. Happy you could hold your sweet daughter when she needed your arms. Beautiful verse.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to comment...but I am just struck to pray..so I will just send prayers in your direction.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Love your knitting projects. The shawl is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love that drawing you made. I think I will steal the idea and make something similar with my oldest, as today she gave over half her allowance towards a friend's adoption. It was only a dollar, but you and I know it is the heart that counts! I love the picture being showered with kindness!
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful. love the innocence you have captured.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post Anne. I think I've been here before...your sweet girl looks familiar! I googled that quote you offered and it is very inspiring and encouraging. Thank you! God bless!
ReplyDeleteYes, what a blessing to follow the Compassion bloggers.. whew! I found myself in tears more often than not, but good tears.
ReplyDeleteI love that verse and the illustration! Good reminder when life gets crazy, and time seems to be against me... that God holds all the time.
The page is so wonderful, and I especially loved hearing your heart as you shared about your daughter...many blessings to you this Thanksgiving and thank you for such encouraging words.
