A year ago today- June 7th

A year ago today we spent the Afternoon in Atlanta, Ga preparing to fly to Quito Ecuador.

First we rode the Marta from the North down into Atlanta.
These next pics are of us riding the moving sidewalks all the way out to our terminal.



Here is the sun setting as we flew over the clouds.
We landed at 11:30 and arrived at our apartment late. Or should I say early? I remember lying in bed feeling like it was all a dream. P and I chattering away not able to sleep because the next morning we would be meeting Maria Jose at 9 am and driving to the Orphanage for the first time. I get a lump in my throat just thinking about it. It was really happening, we were going to meet little G after the long long wait.
